This is one of EASSI’s thematic programme areas of focus and will involve:

• Advocacy for increased women’s participation in peace management and reconciliation efforts
• Strengthening linkages with national and regional organizations in peace efforts and reconstruction efforts
• Promote gender mainstreaming for Small Arms and Light Weapons control and management.
